Omo’ba Hammed Aroyewun on 65th Independence Day anniversary

The Executive Chairman of Igbogbo/Bayeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA) Omo’ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun, has said that the 65th independence day anniversary of Nigeria, is a worthy celebration judging by how unity and peaceful co – existence have been sustained in the country.

He expressed his admiration for the sacrifices of the founding fathers of the country, which he said have established an enduring country.

Aroyewun said this in a statement commemorating the 65th Independence Day anniversary celebration of Nigeria, today.

“On this significant occasion of Nigeria’s 65th Independence Day Anniversary, I join millions of our compatriots in celebrating the unity, resilience, and progress of our great nation.

“As we reflect on this historic occasion, I remember with profound gratitude the heroic sacrifices of our founding fathers and all patriots who laid the foundation for our great nation. Their vision and selfless actions continue to inspire our journey forward.

“Our 65th anniversary is a milestone worth celebrating, our enduring unity as a federation and peaceful coexistence remain some of our major wins”.

While commending the administration of President Bola Tinubu, for navigating the ship of the country towards path of prosperity, Aroyewun also stated that Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA is also supporting the President’s agenda on infrastructural renewal and sustainable development under his own administration as the chairman.

“Indeed, we are gradually approaching the Nigeria of our dreams, a vision being realized through the collective efforts at all levels of Government, being ably coordinated by our President and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“In Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, we are proud to contribute our quota to this national rebirth through people-oriented policies, infrastructural upgrades, human capacity development and sustainable empowerment programmes that align with the broader developmental agenda of our great state and nation, Nigeria”.

The council boss called on Nigerians, especially residents of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, to renew their commitment to building a prosperous and peaceful country.
